ZEN launches a new accessible cycling service in Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham
ZEN are proud to support FREE bike journeys for people with limited mobility in Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham. The Cycle Connect scheme is also available in Westminster.
People with disabilities, restricted mobility, older people and anyone experiencing social isolation can now book free cycle transport. Community organisations can also book it out for transport to meetings and activities.
The ride is a side-by-side electric-assist bike, called the Cycle Connect, with space for a “cycle pilot” (the driver) and three passengers. The service is delivered by Bikeworks and is designed to help people with limited mobility enjoy free sustainable transport for local trip.
