The Islington Community Energy Fund (ICEF) aims to support community led, innovative energy projects that benefit Islington residents and reduce carbon emissions in the borough. Previous grants from the fund have been used to help a housing cooperative, a local playground and a church to implement a range of energy saving measures. These measures included installing solar panels, LED lighting and electric vehicle charging points.
